The freshness of the fruit coupled with its flavour and texture are but some of the benefits in undergoing a fruit cleansing diet.
When ingested, the natural ingredients allow for instantaneous digestion without much work by the body.
The sucrose in the fruit is easily burned and the fibres help in colon maintenance. There is nothing about fruits that can be said to be harmful to the body, though not all fruits are edible.
By exclusive dining of fruit, the body undergoes a cleansing and detoxification program which is much more extensive than a fruit juice diet. The digestive system does not shut down and there is not much change in the metabolic rate coupled with lowered calorie ingestion helps in the body’s detoxification.
There are drawbacks though as the cleansing of the body and the removal of toxins, there would be some effects that need to be addressed, such as foul breath and some weakness spells. But the diet is only for a short period of time and does not create weight loss but instead is all about toxin dissipation from the body.
