New Studies Raise Speculations About Autism DietAutism, a neural disorder that affects the communication skills of a person and causes problems in his social interaction has affected many people for years.

Health experts have recommended several tips to help children, who are affected by this disease. Controlling the diet plans of an autistic child have formed a major step to deal with the behavioral problems of the child. However, there are some recent reports that state diet of a child does not have any relation with his behavioral problems.

The reports of an expert panel indicate that there is no specific diet that checks or accelerates the problems of an autistic child and so restricting the diet might not provide much help in giving these children a better life. As stomach problems and gastrointestinal symptoms are related to this neural disorder, many parents have often made children follow gluten-free and casein-free food diet. However, the panel stated that after conducting more studies on the GFCF phenomenon, they would be able to confirm these issues.

As long as they do not find the benefit of the suggested diets, they have recommended parents to practice the traditional methods to help the autistic children deal with the gastrointestinal symptoms. Food restriction formed an important part of the treatment and so the recent report regarding the diet of the autistic children has attracted the attention of the parents as well as the doctors. The latest reports have made many people reconsider the food of their children, while others have decided to stick to their old diet chart.
